if you want a brighter cluster its very easy just remove your cluster and remove the big bulbs once you get the bulbs out remove the blue condom off of the light bulbs then reinstall everything
i did not think about taking a b-4 pic but y'all know what your cluster looks like lol but heres the after pics

and my 86 Cluster didn't use bulb covers, it uses painted glass :D

I don't see why people want bright clusters. I mean i just need to see all my gauges clearly, which the stock lighting works just fine. I rather not me blinded by the gauges. Anyways you might need some gas...

yeah at night u dont want it to be so bright it messes up your night vision :dunno:

if your gauges are so dim you can't see how fast you are going turn up the brightness dummy.

lol....i should just put a stobe into my cluster so i can get blinded instead of big trucks doing it.

Yeah I agree that they are bright enough at the brightest setting. Driving at night around here, we have very little street lights, so I find that even the brightest setting is too bright sometimes.
