ok dont call me noob cuz i did search

but my idea is to remove that ugly antenna thats above the driver side door and then install one of those little blocks that the BMW or the Acura TL have. im just looking for an antenna thats like a little black box fairly easy to install. if anyone knows let me know and wat i need

whatever you do make sure you keep the parts from your old antenna, you will need them to cover the existing hole if you decide to mount the new one someplace else.

You will have to weld the antenna hole shut first like I did. :)

snap! i wish it WAS a martini switch!

its not hard to fill the hole either. i just did that to my crx. i took some tin snips and cut a piece to fit the hole. if you dont have a welder, JB weld will work just fine, but you will need a magnet to hold the patch plate in place while the JB weld hardens. once its hard, sand that puppy down, and use a glazing putty to get the surface imperfections perfect, wait to dry, sand and paint. its pretty simple, just dont weld your magnet to the car!
