So I traded my LS mesh plus some cash for these. They definitly need new, bigger tires, and the suspension needs to be adjusted, but I really like the style and the color fits the car well.

The sun was setting and I had to get to work, so they look a little dark, but no offence taken. Everybody is entitled to there own opinion.

TSW Imola's, and I totally agree. I almost regretted getting them, until I looked at the tire size :wtf: . There is barely any rubber there.

For some reason those tires fit your car, much better then they do mine. I will be going with 215/45/16's or 215/50/16's. I'm not sure, the 50's might be to large. Oh and BTW this is the first time I have ever seen your 3gee :Owned: .

Ha! Well, I found 5 or 6 clean ones, a couple 89s that looks pretty nice with that black/tan interior. My car should be back up to dd status tomorrow though, so I don't really *need* another car.

Anyhow, I'd pick up some 205/45s, or 215/40s for those.

I liked the other ones much much better. Maybe different tires will help but still I dont think they look as good as before. Same wheels on 86Accordlxi car look good though, I guess it is a matter of taste, contrast and geometry.

it looks very nice. are they lighter or hevier than the LS rims? also 215-45-16 is what monkey has and they rub since his rear shock are blown. so you might have to roll the fender...but they are nice the way they look.

Rubbing = no prob. That's what fender rollers are for :)

(and/or baseball bats and heat guns if you don't have a roller).

The suspension should be adequate as well, to keep any rubbing from happening.

I liked the LS as well, but they needed a new powedercoat and 4 new tires. Plus I really wanted 16's

They look fantabulous, Imola's are classics! Much better than your old ones. They were the first set of rims I wanted after seing them in the french movie "Taxi", never did buy them though lol.
But I think your car would look a lot better if you get that front bumper painted already :)

yes, those are the shit. i love the multispoke wheels on our cars. you should get some center caps though. maybe you can do what i did. i used center caps from my old 13's and made the prongs spread out to fit the center hole of my 17's.
