Same master for the LX-i and SEI

HONDA ACCORD SEI

At least this is what my parts catalog at work says

bolt patterns are the same, so it will bolt up as far as I can tell.
Do a search for rear disc brake swap, there are a few on here who have done the swap with LX models, russiankid just did his recently send him a PM and ask him what he did

russiankid did not replace the LX master cylinder, but we did change his proportioning valve to a SEi valve. There seem to be conflicting opinions regarding any differences between the master cylinders. I've read posts where people claimed it was only a reservoir difference, while in others people mention larger fluid capacity in general. For what its worth, the stock LX cylinder seems to work just fine with the SEi conversion (but russiankid's car still has the front LX brakes). HTH

I'm running se-i brakes on my 88dx/s all around w/prop valve... still using the dx master cylinder.. i have an ex-i one at hand... so since someone else asked I'd thought I'd tag along to see if there was a diff.

yeah if you have an ex-i one just replace it. also when it comes to brakes stainless steel lines make a difference.

The master on the 88/9 EFI models is a larger MC at 15/16", compared to 7/8" with the rest of the line. If you want to go larger, the MC from a 1993 Accord with rear disks should fit.
