Sweet, the Kaminari front was my favorite, just for the lip it added to the car and the two fog light holes it covers up.
I always wanted to have just the front.

hey looks good, sorry your other thread got locked, don't judge all of us because of a couple of idiots, anyone can drive a stock factory car,it takes a lot of time and effort to customize one,and i mean other then bad body kits and giant wings, thats not customizing thats buying from a catalog. now finding a kit at a junkyard and putting it together to make it look good, thats the tradition of customizing. if everyone has the same thing it's not custom. you did things in the right order by doing the engine first then worrying about the outside. i see ricer cars all over the place running around with ugly wings and fart cans, and everytime they hit the gas,you see oil smoke. you have a solid foundation to start your project on,and when the paint is done,it will be really good looking, and mechanically sound. a lot of people judge my car right now,i'm stopped in the middle of my paint job,and the carpet is out, plus the trim is off, i have years of work in this thing, but people don't realize that. it will get finished but in time.

Thanks lost. Its good to see someone with positive feedback. I always jsut came to this site and never really posted anything then when i did i got alot of good feedback and some not so good feedback. Thanks for your input. This car is in its stage too. It has alot of potential and needs alot of attention. Some days il mess with it all day. Then let it sit for a couple weeks . You know how it is. She will be done and thanks again people for the positive info.

For someone that confused me with someone else...I GIVE YOU AN F....

Just kidding. :) I like it, pretty nice. Not digging the rear bumper as much, but with paint itll prob. look real good. Only thing that i see that I would do personally is take off the big shiny wheel well lips....too much chrome. :P

That brings back some serious memories. My car had the kaminari body kit (front, back, and sides) for a long time, until I got the Xenon kit. My mom had also put those chrome wheel arches on my car too, and I remember both very well. Takinf off those arches will seriously improve the look of the car, and you have a good base.

Edit: By the way, I'm almost sure that those are the Erebuni side skirts. My Kaminari skirts were not like that at all, and they only had one style of Kaminari skirts. So you, sir, have a piece of every pre-fabricated body kit made for the 3g. Congrats!

Just clean it up and take care of the few issues and you will have a beautiful car.

Nice car you got there))) but i totally agree about those chrome lists, here in Norway we call them for Rust Collectors or Shit diggers... LoL.
Other then that your car looks fine, better than mine at the moment...
Keep up the good work...

ok ... Im goint to take the skirts off hen i do the body. this car is far from done you guys. thanks for all the positive feedback again. and your right they dont look so great.
lol. i really dont liie chrome anyways. so next week i start the body and il get better pics for a before and after. it will look good when im done. the chroms is really not my style i just threw them on there so i didnt have to keep them n my parts box to get all scratched up when i moved. im goin all black with not chrome around the windows or on the hood. then im goin to paint the inside of my focal rims black with maybe a black plate behind them. im loking for a pop lock kit so i can shave my handles when i do the body. il be riding around with flat black paint for a couple months but my body will be straight and will look way diffeerent. i cant wait. im lookin for tires today. and im goin to check out a acura at the junkyard. thanks yo guys se yas. i know loose the chrome. its the firsrt thing i do next. lata

Anyone watch "Dale" on CMT last night? During an interview they were doing with him there was a black 88-89 Accord Coupe in the background with a Kaminari front kit. Car looked really clean.

Maybe it's me, cause I'm having a hard time following things. You found all 3 different pieces of a body kit at a junkyard? Looks pretty cool to me, just need the front rims & get the kit painted. Sure you got some plans to come. Keep it up.

Well the reason for the valve cover form a lx was because i did a a20a1 carb swap and kept the cleaner vc whcih was not so bright after looking at ghetogeddy's VC and liked it polished . Which i could of done instead of throwing out the lxi cover because the paint was chipping real bad.. the a20a1 has a thermo switch on the block which is also on my thermo housing ,i didnt know was even there. and just never put my the claener back on after lookin at it.i hope to keep it off anyways this car sits and will be gargaed for prolly a good month or two so it will give me time to find a cheap cold air intake...or make one.

wow this is old....haha...anyways i gotta a update...took it back to stock suspention had to put all new bushings and ball joints all the way around with a set of gr2's with stock springs. replaced the wheel cylinders in the back too then took it to get a alightnment. everything came out Looking good and the ride is so much better. It doent make a noise over any bumpes or even move really. I dont like the looke of the stock ride height but. it rolls like a caddy now.
