in my opinion they look closly like the new civic coupe's. the new accord looks great, but there isnt really much a different body complexion between the accord and civic.
i dont know, what do you guys think?

The Coupe is bitchen looking. They're definitely going for a brand styling theme for all their cars. Pretty normal IMO. The Accord Sedan, not a huge fan. Kinda big and bulging.

Meh I think they are alright looking, not as cool looking as the new Nissan Altima or anything, the rear end of the new accord reminds me of a tiburon or something.

the 2003 civic type-r hatch was cool, but otherwise, it's all ugly

honda knows their fan base is growing old, so they wanted to tone down the styling to appeal to the older people who are going blind. and they're hoping to reel us younguns in with the civic and fit.

yeah i plan on buying an 2003 Civic Si HB either before or after i get a new 3gee when i get back from germany. and i mean i like the new body styles of the new honda's but they do have similar accents to them. like the honda fit looks more like the 02-05 Civic Si's. but i dont know, accords have become honda's "luxury" car now...

i will say the new accord coupe looks alot better then the civic to me, looks alot more pissed off, they shyed away from the prototype car they had at the car shows, or called the concept on the back end design, the back on the concept looked alot better as well as the headlights, but meh not bad

all the new honda are going with the Euro look... its a shame
although the accord looks decent, its certainly going down from their peak designs in the late 90's

H has always been going for the Euro look, nothing new, but they just made it affordable and more reliable, also IMO that last sentence can be taken back ten or so years.

I like the overgrown Civic look, but the slanty lookng headlights is sort of Hyundaish-Nissanish The Fit is a good experiment gone bad, though it is an engineering marvel it looks like an GT40 misconcieved with a Scion box.

3gee is aight but for accords 5th or 6th gen is better...
ive always hated the cb7 (90-93) , it has those awful thin headlights.. reminds me of a vigor, those are ugly as sh&#, the canadian vigor that is.

just got back from test driving the '08 accord sedan EX. pretty decent. good amount of leg room, comfortable, handles well and rides very nice. this was the one with the 190 hp 2.4. definately would want a 3.5 V6 model, but the 4 cylinder was pretty impressive compared to previous models. i would have to get used to the drive by wire throttal system, but it was nice just the same. i love the new styling compared to the 03-07 models, definately more appealing styling. just an over all more handsome car. another thing i like is that it doesnt look or feel cheap. but then again most hondas over the years have had high quality fit and finish on interior and exterior styling and materials. so that a big thumbs up for the new accord. i'm going to check the coupe model out when they get one. they said the V6 sedans are selling out like crazy though. once they get some they sell very quickly.

here's some pix i took in the showroom. this would be the '08 accord sedan EX-L V6

yeah but you got to remember they are heavy at like 3300 pounds. just for the coupe. so even if i had a 190hp engine in my car it would at least keep up with one.

The new usdm accords looks a bit fugly. The new euro accord (our current Accords are the same as the usdm Acura TSX) are looking to be a whole lot nicer, take a look:

That chrome grille looks very crude/cheap.
We've been getting the US spec. Accord cheap from Thailand to try & make Honda like Toyota, as well as the more expensive Euro/Japanese Accord...& the smaller cars actually selling much better & closer to Honda's traditional market here.
Bet that's driving the marketing people nuts!

I've no intention to buy any car over 1000kg(2200lbs), give or take 50kg!
Doesn't leave much in the new car market though these days.

here's what i went and looked at a 2nd time. this has the chrome optional wheels. looks pretty sweet in person. i'd have to say this would be my choice for a next car if i could afford it. being that i'm planning on getting a newer car soon, might have to consider a somewhat plain EX. as you can see this one i took a picture of is pretty nice. but i may look for a 5th gen prelude or 6th gen accord. already have and like a 6th gen sedan here at my house so a coupe would be even better.

if you want 190 hp, just stick an h22a in your car.
new accords are getting to big and bulky

they should have stayed at the gen 5 size
I'm 6ft 5 and mine is heaps big enuff
still prefer my gen3
