dunno, it has 2 green / black wires coming off it, 1 goes into a plug, the other doesnt have a plug and disappears into a loom back there, when i unplug it with the stereo on nothing happpens

its a 1988 accord

It's an antenna booster for sure. The "antenna" in these cars is what appears to be the top few lines of the rear window demister.

yeah well most accords also have the antenna on the roof too. but hmmm, it could be a lot of things. i'll do some research and find out.

you guys dont have roof mounted antenas? you luck SOB's LOL matt to test that idea out, tune into a radio station from a far out city that hardly comes in, mayby even some static, then unplug it, your reseption should either get worse or even lose the radio station alltogether
