I've been looking around for some wheels done have alot to spend proably $300 or so, but the cheaper the better.
I'm thinking 15"; light weight is a plus.
I have kind of pictured my car with some flat black wheels, but am really not sure.
Here are some I found on eBay for a reasonable price...I couldn't find the exact weight, but from looking at other wheels made by this company probably around 15lbs. How do you think these would look?

Maybe within the next few months; Gonna have to figure out where the best place to get tires...we usually buy our tires from a Firestone guy...free mounting, balacing... life time: rotation, and flat repair.

^Those are pretty sweet all 5-lug's on ebay though...sold out on edgeracing.com, and no hyper black color.

Most hondas from this era are desighed to handle best on fifteens.
This was the best size of race rubber available .
Its what the crx series were developed to race on and most other honda touring cars
Enkie,oz racing or racing hart make some super cool , uber light weight fifteens.
Had some racing hart wheels on a corolla and they were about 25 lbs with rubber

^25lbs with rubber would be pretty impressive...
The wheels I put a picture of up above is 11lbs. As far as tires I'm going to stay farily cheap and some that I've looked at are 20lbs (tires) a piece...not to bad. With shipping just for those wheels they come out to be a little over $100 a piece.
As far as price goes I've kind of decided to screw it and spend a little more, to get what ever I want...so anything around $400 shipped aint to bad. I'll still need to get vavle stems, lug nuts, tires. So I'm just going to look into different ways to getting it all and see what I can come up with.

yup the less weight you have on the rims and tires the more faster you will accelerate and stop.

yup the less weight you have on the rims and tires the more faster you will accelerate and stop.

Your suspension will also be able to keep the tires on the road better over rough surfaces giving you a smoother ride and more grip.

awesome guys....I was looking at wheels and came across those, and just thought dang, those are the ones. I'm not sure when I'll get them, cause last time I was waiting to buy some wheels, I wanted, the price double all of the sudden, and I had to find something else. My tires still have a good season or two on them so I might by them and have a "winter set" for a while until my current ones wears out...IDK. I'll figure something out thanks for the input.

Well you're car is soon going to be lowered lol... so i have an idea of the stance (appearntly, since its my old suspension :P)

I would suggest a set of these:

bronze on green = pure sex

Heres a picture of my car from back in the day... Nippon F2's, 16x7, 205/45 tires.

^Ya I've decide to go with those wheels I pictured above with 205/50 falkin 912's...mounted/balanced and shipped for $647 w/ lug nuts. Hopefully in a few weeks when I get a check deposited, and they ok from my parents:thumbdn:, I'm still trying to decide wether to get the front bumper repaired or not...they want me to get anything I want fixed first then see how much that leaves me with.

oh the ins.. hey you should comb the JY around you may find a bumper that is already painted the right color for less than 50 bucks. Wheels FTW..
I saw some awesome 14 inch wheels on a Bmw yesterday in the JY, they looked a lot like those you are trying to get. They were 4X100 4 lug,, 300 series, special racing wheels . They sell alloy wheels at pull a part for 70 to 100 bucks a set.

^Ya I've been to a couple yeards already...no laurel blue accords...haven't even found a nice headlight trim piece. My bumper really doesn't look to bad just a little rough on one corner.

yeah good quality rims and tires cost alot....last time i got a quote of 1135 for a set....but it was like 12 pound rims....its only 2 pounds lighter than stock and only 2 inches bigger...for that price i could get a good downpayment for a swap or even start turboing the car....

im thinking of rota
