ok as some may know i have managed to get a complete digi climate control set up from Wohdog. it has every single part needed. i was able to do a mock up in my coupe and i got it powered up. so far to make this work in a left hand drive 3g, you just plug every thing in. the plug that goes to the rec/fresh air actuator attatched to the blower motor actually supplies the system with power. on the digi harness there is a plug with just one wire that plugs into the factory actuator plug. the large gauge 2 pin plug that goes to the factory blower motor is unplugged and plugged into the digi harness. there is a plug just like it that has one wire to tap into power. so far everything works. that was all of the good news. now for the not so bad/ still need to do some work news. when i turn the fan on, i only get HI. when i select low or medium, nothing happens. i hear the relay attached to the bottom of the blower click on when the HI turns on. but nothing at all happens on the other two settings. next up is the backlighting. i need to find out what wires need the power from the dimmer. on the other end of the harness there 5 plugs. 2 of them plug into the main controller, 2 more go to the 2 diiferant acutators on the heater core assembly, and then there is the last plug. it is a small 3 pin plug. i think this might be the equivalent to the 2 pin blue plug that would plug into the back of the stock usdm push button controller givving the backlighting power when the lights are turned on. not sure 100%. i am also working on using the acuators from the RHD set up on my LHD. i need to take the arms off and turn them oposite. then reverse the polarity of the info wires to make them work the right way. i need to do this. i could just plug them into the originals but, on the factory push buttons you have the following, iar up top, top and feet, heat, h/def, and def. on the digi i have all of those plus a buttom for just the feet only. its pretty wicked. i will post some pics soon and keep you all updated.

cool to hear you got it going. i cdnt reply to your PM as your inbox said it was full. there is a 3 pin plug that comes off the climate control loom just before it gets to the controls. i think 2 of these wires go to the dash wiring loom for the sunlight sensor on top of the gauge clutster. maybe the last wire is for parklights?? i didnt really see where it got power for its backlightining from. did you sort out that 8 pin plug thats in the engine bay or does it go nowhere?

carotman i can get you what you dont have as i know where 2 other cars with complete climate control are.

ok i tried to put power to the wire mentioned. all it does is make the lights and little screen dim. but no backlighting. on that 3 pin plug, the one wire makes the above said item dim. the middle wire puts out power. if i put power to the last wire, it makes the controller do some sort of fail safe thing. every led flashes in sequence. now ware exactly does the light sensor wires go. the sensor i have is actually broken. it's missing the top plastic portion. i think it will still funtion but i have no way to mount it. could some one follow those to wires to there source. on the digi control harness there is no wires that match the color code of the wires on the light sensor. i am getting closer i can feel it. i will try and take some pics today before it gets dark.

my one is missing the top aswell. very rare to find a working one but they are all the same u possible cd steal one out of a newer car. Its mounted on top of the gauge cluster. on your existing dash wiring loom if your lucky there might allready have the plug in there for it.

another thing with the climate controls... theres a switch on the controller box... does anyone know what that does??? ive played with it and cant notice any difference?

ok, some more good news. i got the lo and medium fan speeds working. i needed to swap the little black sensor with 3 wires that mounts from the inside of the blower. also, i noticed the fan just wasnt blowing enough air. i realized RHD,duh. the 2 pin blower moter harness is wired backwords cuz the blower itself is reversed. i de-pined the plug and reversed the 2 wires. now the fan spins correctly. next on my list was the acuator that controls the differant vent selections. i figured out the correct wire combo on the 5 pin plug that would put the motor in the polar opposite position when the first vent selction button is pressed. then reversed the power and gronf trigger wire so the rest of the buttons made the motor step as it normally would, just the other direction. i then took the little arm itself off and rotated it to the correct position. i put it all back together on my current LHD heater core and everything is perfect. so now all i have to do is get the vacuum diaphram water vavle working and find a way to make the last actuator work. this particular motor will have to be custom mounted. there is absolutly no place to mount it on the LHD heater core assembly. its not vital for the system to opperate but i want to make it work any ways. i also got the backlights and dimmer to work. the stock 2 pin plug that is blue has a red wire and a red/black. the red goes to the red on the little 3 pin plug that is in between the controller main plugs. the re/black goes to the red/black that is on the extra 3 pin plug down by the blower. if you already have a RHD, chances are that you might have this 3 pin plug already for something. not sure. so in all, everything in the cabin works, and i am left with 4 wires total that i dont know about. back to the small 3 pin plug by the controller plugs. the middle wire puts out a constant 5 volts. the last wire does not. as for the other 2 wires left over on the plug by the blower, i dont know. if any one currently has this setup, factory, can you unplug both of these plugs with the system fully running to see what happens. that will help me figure out what they are for. and lastly, the light sensor, there is no wires or plug that tis would go to in the usdm accords. can someone trace the 2 wires to there source. i will probly have some pics tomorrow. there is just so much i have been doing i wanna show it to all.

ok i did some more work today. i did the last thing on my list. the vacuum diaphram for the water vavle. since the harness for the engine bay had the square plug and would not fit. i took all the tape and crap off to see all the wires. every wire off the plug but one is for the a/c system. i wont have a/c so that was easy. there is one wire that comes off the plug that you do need. a yellow/black. that is the power for the relay that conrtrols the little air valve switch. so now i have a complete set up that is fully operational. now as far as come ing to the next meet. well that all depends on when it is. i still need to do some more shaving in the engine bay and get her painted. i am going to jam the inside and doorjambs in my garage within a few weeks so i can start putting the interior and electrical together. this whole project is a long process but i am moving at a fast pace so i hope to have this car done and in shows by spring. i dont have any pics yet of my current project(climate controls) but i do have some from when my friend used his Nikon d200 to take pics for me for my estimate. i will try to load them up tonight.
