Saw this over at norcal tuners:


ok guys the date is set. i couldn't swing the 6th or 13th because of parking issues . OFFICIAL date is oct 14,2007 it will start 10:30am -5:30pm .

rules :

1. no bullshiters ,shit talkers or just plain assholes (we all are just trying to have a good time)

2. if your car is unsafe to dyno it will NOT be dyno example: bald tires ,running like crap,overheating etc etc.

3. no side shows or "going dumb hyphy retarded" in the parking lot or shop.

4.if parking lot is full there is additional parking across the street at safeway.

5. sign up sheet is a waiver aswell if your car falls ,breaks ,blows up or anything of that matter we are not responsible .ENTER AT OWN RISK type of deal.

6.be nice to carlos . ill be nice to you. j/k you don't have to.

yup... i know the guy...well i meet him. he was impressed with my 109whp...haha....now i want to know how much i can get with my headers installed and obd1 swaped(tuned btw)

so yeah im getting 112whp and around 115 pounds of torque out of a 149k a20.
im almost making 130hp to the crank. that will change once it is tuned.

4 hp, and 7 ft/lbs over the previous pulls. Done with the cur UNtuned on basically stock F22 timing and Fuel.

After tuning, gains should be a bit more prevalent.

No matter which way you slice it, the car is running better now than it ever has before. -- so i assume. ha.

Tuning to be done ASAP.

its not tunned yet since we ran out of time. this is only a baseline but still 112whp is not bad for a 149k engine with bolt on...its like 128hp to the crank.



PS....the car is very smooth right now il take a video of it....when i turn it on now it feels like its not on....and i stalled it because its smooth....

Got the panda dyno today FREE @ import automotive in cocord, ca

Spec:
D16A1 Motor 160k - Burns Oil
K&N Drop In Panel
DC Sports Header
2.25 Exhaust Piping
Apexi Exhaust
Mugen Spec Ecu

strap the panda down on the dyno, told the guy...

take this sucker to 8000rpm, if it blows ill get it towed :twisted:

first run... 106whp/99tq :shock:

second run... 108whp/100tq :?

damn, guess this motor is tired or needs rebuilt...

i was expecting atleast 120whp, shiet...

even my blacktop zc motor push out 134whp/108tq :D

the motor coming out, dropping in another blacktop zc 40k... yay!

Let u guys know that ur dynoes are in std (uncorrected) and will read higher then when their are corrected (sae). what i mean about corrected number is that they take an affect of the weather, altitude, humidity, etc. normally std numbers are 4-6% higher than sae. for example. my friends 03 cobra dynoed 655.7rwhp STD but put down 634.7 sae

for me its also time for a rebuild...i wanted to see upwards of 115hp.....but il guess i need to tune it.
