I present my latest speaker aquisitions,

Earthquake 5'' 1/4' Splits, I love 'em, nice sound normally $340 AU i paid $150 since i traded in my 5" coax's

Ive mounted the crossovers on my doors, justt gotta get two blue leds to light them

FR 60Hz-22kHz.
- Impedance 4 ohms.
- Two 5.25" midranges:
* Fiber impregnated poly cone.
* Super wide edge rubber surround.
* 1" high temperature voice coil.
* 15Oz magnet.
- Two 1" mylar dome tweeters:
* Neodymium magnet.
* Polyswitch tweeter protection.
* 360 degrees swivel mesh.
* Angle / flush / surface mount options.
- Two Xover networks:
* 18dB/Oct. high pass @ 4kHz.
* 12dB/Oct. low pass @ 4kHz.

One major thing though, decided whether to go flush mounting, or mount it just normal.

i would say go normal. with that magnet you may have some problems with windows rolling down and hitting it.

Already cant roll my windows down all the way :(

how much does it hit?
can you move the speaker forward a little?

I don't think he can't roll his windows down because of the speakers.
I think he can't roll his windows down cause the 3G's power windows don't last 15 odd years :(

my windows rolls just fine. i think he has problem with a window hitting the magnet.
I have almost the same problem when i putt my alpines in, but it missed the window by less than 1/4 inch.

actually now my drivers side window goes down a little bit more now, almost full way....

and passenger side is ... well still sticks down about the same as the rear windows when opened to their max

hmmm.... he just logged on... so we'll see in a sec...
i still reckon its old windows...
my windows roll down fine too, except the drivers side window has caught the rubber.... i dunno how to fix :(

nah its the magnets in the way...oh well i can live with that.

Actually now as of today, my windows roll down all the way...a little force....and now they roll down perfectly.
