somehow it came unbolted and fell down onto the crossmember lol

anyway i got some new bolts and repaired it....

thats why my steering was so heavy. i thought the belt had broken lol

His engine bay doesn't look that bad. I've seen some pretty bad engine bays of my friends.

Wierd that your power steering pump would just fall off... You'd think there would be some wierd symptoms before it happened. Threadlocker FTW!

the belt wouldnt fit on properly upside down cause of its V shape. but the pump = lol

the belt is not upside down. its on the correct way. some belts are just made ribbed on the outside like that.



did you burn your upper hose at all? if not you got lucky on that one.

the one i have now looks like that,it's not upside down, it has something to do with relieving stress on the belt when it's running.

lol the damn belts noit upside down do you want me to turn it upside down and see what u guys all say lol. im not that dumb. either way the pipes were all good and i didnt lose any fluid. i did lose the old belt tho. no symptoms it just felt like the power steer belt was loose then the power steer gave up alltogether haha oh well all fixeD

and i cant be fucked cleaning the engine bay as its only gunna leak oil all over it again. ive tried it once so i dont care anymore. ill fix it up when the rebuilt engine goes in.

If that is the case. Hopefully the rest of motor don't fall in the cross-member. Might want to put a wrench to some bolts around the bay there. 3geezus give me a break. :confused:

fix the leaks...it looks nicer that way..i fixed mine and bam it looks nice. i still want to presure wash it from the bottom.

haha no i think he meant the red(or blue) threadlocker you put on nuts or bolts so they don't back themselves out. and no the belts are okay, you guys need to go read up on your shop manuals you guys are slippin...3geezus would be spinning in his grave if he knew about this hahaha

blue threadlocker,you won't want the bolts in there permanently.
and i knew it wasn't on upside down:) give him a break guys,who do you think he is civic dark geo accord hondabeater?

i love my power steering too much to not have it :) im glad to have it back it was so hard to steer while the belt was off

and my bad on the belt, i have allways seen them with the ribbing turned in...mayby i have been working on GMs crap serpintine set up to much... dunno

Some budget NZ new accords have no power steering. my 1st one was i wish i kept the steering rack from it. it wasnt as hard to turn.
