just got my 87 accord

just wanted to say hi, got pretty lucky on it, 900 bucks. 160k miles.

what are common problems on these?? i am new to this old of a honda, iv owned a 89 crx and a 94 civic coupe. both did me good so i hope this one will too...

Common problems as of age i would say ball joints and rust. There are other problems you will encounter but they aren't to hard to fix if you have experience under the hood.

yeah most common problems on these are like carb problems if you got a carburated car

welcome to 3geez, the carbed cars are a bit more of a pain then the FI ones but both arnt bad, just depends how much the last owner trashed it lol, good luck

yep my car is carbed at has 215k on it. Only problem right now is a bad cat, and the carb is running a little rich. Oh yeah, Hello and welcome to the board.
