Ok, so next week i'm pickin up an '89 LX-i. It needs new front brake pads, new srtuts and has a crack in the windshield. Not too bad for a $100. Unfortunately it's an automatic. I found this site yesterday and after reading for a while, this is the plan i came up with for the accord.

Brakes:
Rear disc brake conversion from an SE-i

Suspension:
GR-2 Shocks
neuspeed sport springs
Tokico Struts
Front Sway Bar

Transmission:
A2K5 from 2nd gen prelude (and all necessary parts for swap)
Clutchnet clutch, pressure plate, and lightened flywheel
Short shifter

Engine:
4G map sensor
4G fuel injectors
Delta 260 cam

Intake:
B16 Skunk2 IM
B16 TB
Short Ram Intake

Exhaust:
not sure, think i read pacesetter makes everything from the header back.

This is what i came up with so far. I'm not in any rush to do this car, just tryin to make a plan first. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and also if anyone knows what kind of power these mods might yield that would be great to.

I wish I had the know-how to do all that. I'm still paying big bucks for other mechanics to do the major work while I try and figure out the small stuff.

Anyone know what kind of power would be made by this set-up? I know it's not gonna be an insane amount, but i wanna get an idea as to how much. Thanks.

I dont understand...

Someone new...who searches....and has a plan?

Who are you and what are you trying to do to 3geez?!?!

Setup sounds good...but just out of curiousity what are you looking for from the car? If youre looking to aim more at performance maybe a more aggressive cam would do some good along with some headwork...

Youre definetly on the right track by searching and researching and deciding what you want...but if you tell us what you want from the car im sure some of the folks who know entirely too much about accords can help out even further

My plan is pretty simple...I want a fun daily driver. I had an automatic '95 Integra Ls with basic bolt-ons and suspension work and an '88 Civic Si with a '00 B16 and matching tranny with some bolt ons. I just want the accord to be as fun as the integra was. I could have gotten another Integra or maybe a Civic, but then i'd be like everyone else. I want the Accord to be respectable. I guess that's it.

wohdog ftw. i know he has access to at least one complete swap right now. and i think a18a has a complete b20a w/ 5-speed as well atm.

meh..but still...after you buy the b20 and trans, you could put into the A20 and be that much further ahead. If hes just looking for a fun DD i think the A20 would more than suit his needs.

And for the record, im not trying to put the B down in any way shape or form

he's carbed, so putting in a b20a (with efi conversion) is a 62 hp increase over stock. and even if he did have an a3, you're really hard-pressed to find a better bang for buck than a b20a.

awww....you could spend 1500 bucks on a new engine...or spend it on the engine you already have. when i started i bet i only had like 100whp...now im upwards of 120whp...with just about half of that amount...
