this started being a problem when my car would turn over but it wouldn't fire even though i had that tested and i have fire coming from the plugs, distributor and coil. please let me know about this fuel thing, it's an emergency.

Pump is farely easy to change, it is located behind the rear seats.
Lift the carpet up in the trunk and you will see 2 round panels about 5" round, the one on the drivers side has the pump under it.
to be safe disconnect batt. then just replace pump !

Here's the fuel pump http://www.c-speedracing.com/howto/fuelpump/fuelpump.html
i'm digging the filter info.
But the filter is on the right side, on the firewall, next to the throttle body. Fairly easy to change.

This should be enough to help you through the install. http://www.c-speedracing.com/howto/fpgauge/fpgauge.html

In tank performcance pumps for our cars, i don't know of any. However you can install an inline pump like it did and will do the work or better, you'll have 2 pumps instead of 1.

I would definitely try the main realy first. When you turn the key to "On" you should hear a click, the check engine light should come on for about two seconds, then you should hear another click when the engine light goes off.

If this sequence does not occur and you then have the starting problem replace the main relay. It's $35 from hondaautomotiveparts.com. It is a commonly replaced part and causes the exact problem you are describing.

Yeah, it's hard to find. In the drop down menu go to "Controller (1)." It's item number 008, "Relay Assy - Main."

It's tough to get to the bolt that holds the thing in the car. I know I'm not the only one who relocated it when installing the new one!
