This is what my new muffler looks like. The old one fell off. Tim is making new parts to go with it. I will put pictures of it as we go along.

it just needs to have the pipe welded to the flange pipe where it rusted out. and i need to make the tailpipe, and i used the original hanger bracket, after i cut it off the old truck size muffler.

are we going to be able to listen to it? where do you get raptors ?
I wish they still made cherry bomb Q, I had a pair on my 73 Grand Am , yes I said 73 but it was not in 73 lol

those were nice sounding mufflers, I think I heard they were making them again but I dont believe they are the same. The originals looked about like regular mufflers but they were chambered and had a coating on them.

I need to change my car too , it is getting louder.. smitthys is broke in now.

good work there Mr Tim..

i'm uploading a clip right now, it's quiet, when i get a chance to jack it up again i will post some pics of the welds, thanks a million david maule. the remaining piece of the pipe up to the flange, was completly split and cracked, also full of holes, talking about the curved part. i cut a piece of stainless bend in two pieces, fit them over the rotted out pipe, and he welded and hammered them into place. it now looks like a continuous piece of stainless pipe all the way from the muffler to the flange. even though it's about six pieces. fit right up there like factory, thanks to some careful fitting, and marking by your truly. the pipe from the front to the back is getting bad,but i should be able to find an exact replacment and it will bolt up like factory. the muffler and stainless piping will probably outlast the car.

Sounds nice, wish you would have given it a little more throttle though.

I have a pair of those on my chevelle, and boy do they sound sweet on a V8. It has a deep bass tone to it,that is until you gun it.

well this is the wierd thing, we had two engine codes that defied description, one for the map sensor, and one for the rear o2 sensor, after i put the muffler on,the light codes cleared for some reason, and havent come back on. maby it had something to do with the pipe being broke off so far up. back pressure tripping a code?

I like the low rpm sound. Like the others id like to hear it above say 4500rpm.
