Yeah thats tape. I have a stronger adhesive I'll be using to hold it down. I have a spare grill to play with

It came off a hood. The one I have on my car is aftermarket

as long as you mount it cleanly, i think that'd be much nicer than haveing one on the hood. i tried making something like that with an old 2nd gen grille. i still have the H emblem but dunno where the grille went.

I like that grille and emblem much better. Looks more sanitary (not like germs but less clutter). Plus like said it looks to be more open for increased airflow to the engine.
