ECU question

I have a 86 accord lxi efi 5speed trans.Will a ecu out of a 86 accord auto work in my car.It also was a efi engine.Thanks Mark

Try searching ECU lol... it won't work wont search for 3letters ,but the answer is on this forum several times over. But i''l be nice cause it's not what you wanted want to hear. No they won't i'd be interested to see what happens if you try it though. honestly i don't know what differences they have besides your car will idle up when moving, but i'm no guru.
I want to know why they won't as a matter of fact!!!

i've got two extra auto ecu's and only drive the 5-speed don't need it now but maybee i will...

yes it will work just fine.
your can may run at warm up a little diff, but you can start the car and it will run just fine.

i wouldnt think it would start without the car being in park....then again that is tied in with the auto starter so that wouldn't matter
