Hi,

I am wondering if it is a good bet to get Best Buy to install my subs+ amp, since they also have the lifetime warranty thing. I already have an after market Pioneer head unit so that will not be a problem. I have no clue what sub and amp combo to get, but I am willing to spend good money in order to get a solid amp that will last. I hope to keep the total cost under around 600 ish but am willing to go over. Can anyone recommend a good sub + amp? I want something with enough thump to be herd outside the car :P but not something that rattles the whole car ;).

If you are looking for a quality entry level subwoofer look for a MTX or Dual. I have had both in my car, and both are very well made for the price. As far as amps go, stick to a well known brand that you know will have quality, and get a mono amp they put out more power than a multi-channel amp will, if you looking for a good sound look for a Jensen Mono amp, they have high power. I like them even over sony!
