i dont know if those gaskets are re-useable or not..i only had it on my car for 2 months then in storage for a long time before i sold it to dark accord (cah), you might wana wipe it out aswell, i had blown a ring on my car whe i had it installed and was blowing heavy smoke... so thats why its so black with carbon buildup.. i told cah to wipe it out but i doubt he did...

No i didn't wipe it out neither did cah oh well it's hollow. How can you tell it's not cause no i didn't know, got it cheap and it's prettier than stock so i'm still happy but how'd u tell?

i got it off ebay for about 55 shiped back a while ago... it does what its ment to do but the name bage is fake i belive... i bought it becuse it did axactly what i needed it to

Surprising how it doesn't sound much different at all, Keep us posted on gas mileage and any noticeable acceleration gained :)

got a performance muffler on it now. only problem i had with the converter was that the holes on it are slightly twisted so my flex pipe is now twisted a bit:thumbdn:
I didn't notice any gain in accel to be mentioned i NEED a header think i've got someone to build one for me for beer! he works right next to my liquor store.I'm going to have to read up on headers to see how long/diameter i want the runners to be.

damn the holes being messed up sux... i never noticed a problem when i had it on my car... but i allso installed this along with my pacesetter headers wich have the ball type join wich woulda just spun so corect itself.. mayby it got messed up in a one of its shipping travels... sorry to hear that man...

and yeah i didnt expect much of a sound difrence since its still a resignator, but kinda shocked you feel no difrence... but again i dunno what it felt like by itself since i installed it along with headers all in one swing...

the converter is still in good shape the exhaust on my car looks a little rigged after the cat which is probably the problem. it's like the end was spun clockwise when welded on after the cat? it'll get solved when i get the new exhaust, bigger piping!

true. hope it gets figured out. i had pace setter headers, to that converter, to 2.25 mandrel bent cat back exhaust and it sounds awsome..

oh well would have been easier than havin one made. still gotta take mine off so they can look at it. i'll end up putting a 4-1 on it till it's done and ignore the CEL but it'll be worth it...

New engine for me!!! no more knocking noise this will be the third engine in this car had original engine in it when i got it (R.I.P.) hence 86 swap which didn't do it justice but now a "new" 89! yay for more compression again!!!!

I know the car needs paint still... but hey it does more than i need it to 30+mpg, home-work-grocery-home kills other 4cly, and hauls it's own extra engine .

This should be in by next weekend, hell i may try to do it tomorrow took me 4 hours to pull it at leisure.

rebuilding the head now. i'm sure glad i have an extra this is taking longer than i thought. the compressing came back at 155,135,135,155
I crank it three or seven times to check the book say's 7 but the compression tester says 3 ???? either way it's getting done... quick pic's

I think i damaged one of the exhaust seals putting it back on oh well i guess i'll try the rope trick later. i gotta get this on soon or that leaky injector is gonna cause one hell of a problem
