honda on dirt

Just found 3geez last night and i have had nothing but "wood" all day. First I gotta say i love the preludes and 3rd and 4th gen accords, they do great on the dirt track i race every saturday april through september here in central illinois. I also save all my motors and have never blew one up and they have always handed the eclipses nothin but exhaust fumes. In one day i have gotten so many answers too soo many questions just by reading, B20A5 (91 prelude) in a 3rd gen accord, speed limiter bypassing, and so much more....... THANK YOU ALL

Glad you're loving the site, but you might want to read again... b20a5 it is, but prelude motor it is not.

hey, question, not off topic exactly.. was there ever an Accord left hand drive with a B20 oem?
I am thinking there is because I believe I saw one in the JY a couple years ago.

Ok B20 gurus... what's up
I swear I saw one before I really knew what I was looking at. Was there LHD B20 Accords? I live in a military base town, I see a lot of rare imported cars that folks brought here, smog control free Beamers, a diesel corolla, I know it is possible but not many RHD cars though.

i think thats outa the question since anyone that does the swap/ get the parts, they know how rare they are. most likely if you were close to a base that cars were imported then mayby thats it? but i dunno

I don't, or didn't rather, the realization occured to me that there were bunches of these motors sent to importers as used replacement engines for USDM cars. I have heard several times these motors are sold dirt cheap w/auto trannies because the importers do not know what to do with them ( I have proof, evil chuckle heh) shops that had customers that needed motors or trannies could buy them to fix the car, make some money and save the customer a little too. So every B20A that made it in the US is by no means on this forum. Were talking speculatively hundreds ! Fair statement? indeed. so pop every single hood of Accords and 2nd Gen Preludes you see in the JY guys !!!

Any European car would be LHD except from UK ones. So yes, there are LHD B20's.
