This is what happen. I was on my way to sacramento i started to smell oil i thought it was another car that was in front of me then my RPM's went from 3k t0 5k im like WTF so i pull over and take a look under and there was oil pouring out from between motor and the trany SHIT. I check the oil on my b20a and it was full that was good but thet means the front trany seal went out DAM. This F"ing blows now i got to pull out the trany and replace the dam seal and it ging to rain tomorrow SHIT lucky me.So if any one knows what seal will work from a us trany let me know i dont want to spsnd all day looking for one that will work.

i would think the b18 seal would work, since the bellhousings are interchangable.

It's used on many transmissions also USDM ones. Here's the partnumber:

yeah thats random as. Never had a seal break on me before. Oh well. Get a new one. i dont know what fits as i have no idea what these gearboxes are the same as.

we are looking at the tranny input shaft broke off right? hard to tell so close up

I had a friend of mine tig it already just need to take the dremal the smooth it out and clean all the metal shaveing out of the case.

it the only trany i have what choice do i have and i put off making the adaptor plate but i am going to have that made next month.I will have a GSR trany on my b20a in february.

I would like to but not going to happen. I still need to get two new cv shaft's and throw out bearing and pressure plate and disk. all that oil totaled the clutch disk.

Can you use the long axle?? Last time i tried it didnt work cause the axle woodnt clip into the gearbox and it ALLWAYS fell out and leaked oil. But yours obviously works since ur using it :)

Just get a B20A5 shaft and put it on the B20A bracket. It will work and you'll get equal lenght axles.

no it a manuel axle and my turbo B20a should be in by the end of february. And it will be running today

well it running the trany is all good but it had a set back the after market crank pully i get off egay is bad and i can't get the crank bolt loos so i have to take it to my friend shop and have him take it off for me.

It all back together all is good that Stage3 clutch is a bitch on my knee and it rips third gear hard i like it.

that crank pulley is the bigest PITA to take off. It took me and my dad several hours just to get the bolt loose, and we ended up making a special wrench to take it off casue we shattered two or three sockets trying to get it loose.

Anyway good to see the B20 up and running again

Damn i never thought you would have to shop outside the U.S or canada to find a B20A. At one point i had 3 full swaps and one partial now i have almost 2 complete and 1 long block for parts.

Least you fixed that relatively fast.

Ill have to ship them to snoopyloopy. You put your car together with the parts off your bung gold top. Everythings interchangeable you will have no problems.

thought so, it's different to my B2K5 one, it would fall off the end of that thing on the gearbox when the clutch arm thingy was pulled all the way. cause of this thing being longer on the b2k5 than the f2k5 one
