Hey, here we go again with another "I'm new here" forum thread, lol.

I'm from good old New England, (right outside of Boston, MA to be exact)

I started out in the Accord family a couple of years ago, I bought a 1993 Accord LX coupe.. long story short, It died. Then I bought a 1997 Camaro, and that died. That brings us to now..

I Found a 1989 DX coupe in my area with get this, 107k miles on it. It was a steal, and decided to pick it up as a project, see what I can do with it..

Glad to be here, Hope to meet some cool people that are into the same things I am.

Cheers:cheers:
~Doogan

Ugh, I'm really not sure yet.. I was expecting the 2.0EFI to be honest, guy didn't let me know untill I was there..
I saw a few others with the Carb'd and I didn't know if I should bother doing anything with it, or if I'm looking straight for the engine swap for the performace I'm looking for..

I'll be asking around on the forums alot.
Thanks again for the welcome!

if you are looking for an engine swap dont waste your money on the car...save as much as you can....if you just want bolts on...you can start with a weber convertion, headers, exhuast and a cam

welcome.. if your scared about the carb just do a EFI swap.. the A20 can get some ok power out of it.. the carb just robs it... if you like carbs then run a webber and you should get the same result as a efi accord with a little extra love needed... if your ever in maine my old car should be there someplace :D lol

He's carb'd, so he can't use a short ram without a civic air box. Not that it really matters on the stock carb. Just go with the weber. But, I do agree with you on one thing. PICS!!!
