Coming from the around the Heads, and leaking onto the exhaust manifold. Not coming from valve cover gasket, that i know of. Could it be the Head gasket itself?

If so , is it worth replacing?

What about the distributor o-ring?

would that leak onto the exhaust manifold , its coming from around the dizzy part of the heads, but could it get oil over there?

It can get oil in a lot of places, so replace the o-ring its pretty cheap.

so replace th dizzy o ring gasket and if that dosent heal my baby its prolly the head gasket ... is the head gasket worth replacing if i have to ? i mean it gives me an excise to do some head work and clean out the intake manifold and shit , but i cant do the work myself

thus is it worth it?

The cars leak oil from, in my order:
1. Valve cover gasket, on the ends particularly if it's a non-Honda gasket.
2. Oil Filter Housing (gasket looks like a figure-8).
2a. Oil filter seal, because the facing surface of the oil filter housing is built up with crud, and doesn't allow the o-ring on the filter to seal well. When you change your filter, before putting the new one on, feel this surface with your finger. If it's not flat, but has kind of a built-up circular ridge about where the filter O-ring sits, scrape it off with your fingernail or a rag.
3. Distributor: two o-rings, one big, one small.
4. Oil pan
5. Head gasket.

I would do this: you live in VA where it's warm sometimes. With leaks from perhaps more than one place and the mess they make, it's hard to see where it all might be coming from. Get under the car via some ramps or on a lift, and take off the plastic under-motor shroud. If it's torn up they don't cost much to replace. You need to get this off in order to clean the motor and see what's what. Now, get some Gunk (a couple of cans or 3) and with a warm or cool motor (just not hot) spray from the valve cover gasket down, let sit for 15 minutes or so, and hose off. You'll be doing this several times. You might want to cover the distributor. The first cut, just get as much of the big mess off as you can. Now do it again, with some help from a tooth brush in the spark plug crevices etc and on the side of the block around the dizzy. Do it again if you have to until everything is really clean. If you are tempted to do the rest of the top of the engine cover the coil first.

After the front and sides of the engine are nice and clean, head below and attack the mess down there: all around the down pipe, the oil pan, suspension, where ever the oil has blown. Get up there around the oil filter housing especially, since if you haven't replaced that gasket I'd bet you're getting leaks there. When everything is clean go for a drive, then go back immediately with a flashlight and have a look, top to bottom. You want to do this right away before the oil has a chance to blow around. You should be able to tell where it's coming from.

You can't do this without taking off the lower plastic shield.

Good luck. I've been through this, as have so many members. It's a quality of life thing, what with the leaks dripping on the exhaust and all.

I've got the same problem on mine. I already replaced the dist o-ring, which was leaking, but it wasn't the whole problem. I think it's mostly coming from the o-ring between the PCV liquid/vapor separator (That's the boxy thing on the right under the intake manifold) and the block on mine. Haven't checked it out yet because it's a pain, but might be worth checking.

Here's a link to a diagram of the PCV system. The o-ring I'm talking about is #24.

Good luck!

Have you checked your P/S pressure hose? That's the only thing I know of that drips oil on the exhaust manifold. It can result in an engine fire, so it's a good thing to fix straightaway. Can't think of any reason for the exhaust manifold to leak oil. Head gasket is below the exhaust, so any leak there wouldn't leak onto the manifold. It could, however, run down the block and drip onto the pipe. Definitely don't replace the head gasket unless you're absolutely certain it needs to be done.

Wehn I had oil hittng my exhaust it was the valve cover gasket. It looked like it was coming from the head but it was indeed the vcg. Try that first and use a HONDA gasket.
