View Full Version : 3geez flip open headlight trick...

alot of time i would mess around with my headlights since theres a switch to flip the headlight up and down with out having them on...i believe its next to your back defroster...so i would repeatedly press the button so the headlight would go up and down...after a few second of doing so the headlight would start switch off opening and closing...so one would open and the other would be down and visa-versa....wanted to share that with everyone.....

yeah think maxoutracer or somebody showed us that at a meet.. doesn't look like it's too good for the motors but does look kinda funny

my switch is not working lol my old switch broke so i spliced the wires together so it only works when i turn the headlights on lol
but yeah just becarefull not to brake the motors or switch since its a 20year old car

old news man... i can make them sleepy eyed by a switch.. and i can make them do the off beat up/downs on purpose via resistors and relays

looks like the 3gee has down syndrome... it looks like hell on the accord and any prelude.. do to the 90 degree headlight bucket

Back in the day when I first got my Accord. I did that so much my lights broke with one up and one down. Lucky for me it was still coverd by the dealer(it was only 6 months old at the time). All my father could say was I told you not to get that damn Honda. Ill tell you this I have done it maybe 4 or 5 times sence then. :D :slap:

Yup. Ive never had a problem with the accord popup headlights. And ive had girls that allways play with them. Maybe your USDM cars have issues

Yeah i know what ya mean. But its such an interesting feature some people that get in your car cant stop playing with lol. One of my headlight motors is faster than the other and its funny.

same here chicks for some reason like to play with the flip ups... but then i normaly give them something else to play with that interests them more
