all thats left to do in the engine bay is to hook up the fuel line, vacuum lines, plumb the PCV system, hook up the downpipe to the headers, install the short ram intake, and install the oil pressure gauge.

overall, i still need to fix the interior, get a new handle/lock, buy/install an entire exhaust system, plumg/install gauges, secure the battery box in the trunk, buy a battery, and start the car up. still a long ways to go, but its a steady project none the less. my skylines the next in line and im creating an RB24 out of an RB20:cheers:

its actually a B16 intake manifold. i didnt like the FITV that the B18 manifold had, and i like more top end power as well, so i chose this over the B18 manifold. although if i ever wanted to switch, i do have that option cause i have it lying around somewhere, and i have a spare head, so fitment wont be an issue cause ill fit it outside the car

FITV=spun bearings believe it or not, one of the main reasons why i decided againest using the B18 manifold.

my machinist said that when the car starts up on a normal day, it makes no real difference cause you get near instant oil pressure anyways. with the harsh winters up here in canada, and my laziness to plug in a block heater, i have a high chance of getting a spun bearing cause the oil is thicker when its colder(it was like molasses when i poured some in the corolla), and theres not enough time to build up pressure which results in a spun bearing.

not quite something americans would have to deal with, but canadians should take that into consideration if a B16 manifold is avilable

it looks like a wiring nightmare cause everything isnt done yet. ive shortened quite a few wires up, and i still gotta zip tie them together into a small bundle. the only thing that is a nightmare right now is the vacuum lines, now THAT is a nightmare since i had to 'T' off the only port there is so many times.

hardest part was the wiring...mine is still not 100% but like 98% i still need to wire my VSS and O2 sensors...so im running a bit rich...but its good because im going to get a wideband.

i think wiring should be one of the easier things to do considering you need the pin outs of both ECU's, a conversion harness and maybe run a new lead or two. modifying the distributor is a huge PITA and its more or less a trial and error approach

im so close to getting my accord started. infact, if it wasnt for the fact that its night time, id actually try starting it up right now. heres a picture of a somewhat messy engine bay that needs a little attention over the winter.

i think i should keep the intake on that way:lol::rofl::bowrofl:. seriously though, once my exhaust comes in the mail, im gonna try and clean it up a bit, tie up all the wires, and then start on the interior.

its the temporary running setup. when its done, alot of it will be neatly tied up and some of it might be tucked away
