like the topic says. i cant seem to find it in the shop manual under emmissions control or anything, and i cant seem to search the forum for it because everything seems to be carb related.

They are there under fuel and emissions control. They do not have the hoses marked with the numbers. You have to go from sensor to sensor to see how they connect. They do show a few under fuel injected trouble shooting but they do not show all of the connections.Mark

seems like a major PITA to hook everything up now. do i look into the 'KE' model for an 89 EX-i? or the 'KX', or do all fuel injected ones use the same sensors and valve?

for the cold advance valve, im assuming the line with the check valve on it goes directly to the manifold since line 15 is on the distributor? where does the air filter portion of the air box go to?

Your Car is a KX Model

the KE doesn't have a O2 Sensor and as many Vac lines

thanks, i didnt quite understand which model i had since that would require looking over the entire book. i found it convenient how i managed to hook up the MSD box wrong along with the vacuum lines until i looked it over on the manuals for more clarification:cheers:

Yep there good manuals, Yay For paul scanning those, i hope to someday scan a USDM Service Manual, I've scanned the 1986 Accord Sedan Owners manual and like 15 Brochures, but never a 1200 Page Manual........

The PDF Service Manuals are a General "World" and Europe Manual.

The USDM Manuals Cover all the In Depth Emissions things and other North America things that those cars may or may not have, There Better Then a Haynes, but for a North American Car, The USDM manual is the best

The best thing to do is watch them on ebay, Theres 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989 General Service Manuals and then Theres the Electrical Troubleshooting manual then theres a body repair manual.

They Can be had for as little as $10 and as much as $40

Heres a 1988 One with no bid's, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1988-Honda-Accord-Service-Manual_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ34223QQihZ003QQi temZ130185906573QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

well, i looked into the vacuum diagram, and compared it with my car and its a HUGE mess. the book says ive got lines 21, 12, 15, 18 and 28.

the lines i have are 16, 13, 12, 15, 5, 24, 21 and 3.

the ONLY line that seems to work out is just line 21 and that is for the MAP sensor. nothing else seems to match up at all. i guess my only option is to just do everything from scratch with the box itself and the stuff inside.
