Will carb eng from a 89 bolt into 86-88 w/carb?

Haven't learned the ins and outs of 3gee hondas....yet!I have an 89 dx,with an opprotunity to sell eng if it will fit in 86-88.Thanks

yes... all the 86-89 usdm engines are almost the same... just re use the intake manifold/exhaust if its fuel injected or not

**edit** you might need to try out the search buton... its a wonderfull thing

Any issues going from an automatic to 5 speed.I used search first,but it didn't answer my question.

an engine is an engine.... as long as you are useing the block only then it will all bolt up

yes but it should be hooked on the intake manifold, so if he just uses the block he should be fine
