Since I got that 87 Hatch, I always wanted to keep it 100% OEM. I managed to install a few optional parts here and there.

I now got to the point I'm not sure if I want to keep it 100% Original. I have all the parts here for a rear disc and EFI conversion. Of course these conversions are time consuming but this is a long term project anyway. I've owned my sedan for 13 years now and the project it still going :D

Would you guys do it or not?

13 years wow,
I say go for the mods, you've had the car this long so your obviously going to be keeping her for a long while more. You might as well do it.

anything that will make the car more reliable is a good thing

WOW, 13 years! Congrats, that LX of yours is a car I look up to and hope to have something somewhat like it someday

Personally I would do a EFI Swap and the Rear Discs, I've always said If I ever got a DX, it would get EFI and Rear Discs.

Do the swap, you collected the parts for a reason :D

It's still OEM parts right? Then the car is still OEM, just has some new features added to it. :D "Owner-added options."

Rear disc brakes are totally worth it, it took me a day to do them by myself with new lines on all four corners.

So you should do it:)

Like others mentioned, I would add the rear discs. If you are looking to actually daily drive the hatch then I would the efi conversion, if not then I go with a nice dual weber set up.

Well, I guess I'll have no choice but to convert it.

I might get a big brake kit for the sedan and install the remaining parts on the Hatch with the SE-i knuckles.

Anyone has a spare Hatchback main harness laying around. If not, I'll have to hack both harnesses and make my own for the conversion.

Hmmm yeah, If you have an 87 EFI hatch harness, I might take it :D

Auto or manual? auto seatbelts?

I'l still not sure anymore. I "love" how the carb looks hehe.

87 ? previous post said 88-89
anyway, I don't have it yet, but I have a shopping list to fill a the JY, two here that I have been to last month have several, I would say a dozen hatchbacks between them. Sadly two of them I saw look like they really do not belong there yet.
Weather permiting , I'm going tommorrow for teg dizzy, axle, recently replaced motor mounts, a few hatch parts by request, and weber/dellorto carb hunting.

Oh yeah, 88-89, sorry lol.

If you ever come by one, I'll gladly trade some B20A parts or send money for it!

yep I see those on the coupes a lot
that ties into the harness via the domelight circuit I assume, or is it also involved in a ign override, I have to look that up at work.

Ok forrest you started it, you have the brochure collection, can you bust this myth about grab ya seatbelts?
I am 98 percent sure I have seen them in JY, always on long door cars (2dr) Accords 88-89
Sorry for the off topic carotman, and btw did you want those grab ya seatbelt delete?
of course that depends if there is such a thing at all:)
