Welp...it's her time to shine (both literally and figuratively...) She's officially up for sale and got the best, most thorough cleaning she's ever gotten. It includes interior vacuum, shampoo and vinyl cleaning, engine degreased and Simple Greened, exterior washed and waxed with black parts Armor All'ed plus a wheel cleaning. She's smiling...that's for sure.

Figured I'd give her one last good cleaning before she found a new home. I tell ya what though, it was the saddest cleaning I've ever done because I know the next owner will never treat her the way I did...but, we all, at some point must move on. :violin:

So here's my last photoshoot of my first car, MIK3's 3gee. Enjoy.

And then these are with the new Maxima. The Maxima is a giant compared to the 3gee.

i wish my dx looked clean like yours...it looks like it came out straight from japan. fat fives look good. i also like my tokico/eibach set up on my dx...less harsh than my tokico/neuspeed set up on my lx-i..if it was manual i would consider buying it...i need a clean car.

The end of an era indeed man. Oh yeah, I almost want a background check and pre-screening as if I was hiring the person for my company before I sell the car to them...but, for a coupe thousand dolloars worth of sale, I'm not sure I can...heh.

DAYUM! That car looks good! Nice job on the clean work. Sorry to hear you're selling such a nice damn car. They're rare to see that nice and clean and whoever gets it has no idea what a great car they're getting. You don't have to move on you know... ;)

Wow, that's absolutely amazing - that car does not look like it's 20 years old!

I'm sure I won't have the money, but I still have to ask - how much are you gonna be asking for it?

MIK3

Heh. Well, my asking price is $3,450. I've already had two potential buyers call me for meet up times and told me the price was pretty good, so sale looks prosperous thus far...

But thanks for the above comments. I honestly wish I could keep this car, but 6 cars to insure gets pretty pricey for the parents and I need the money for the downpayment on the maxima...or else, this would definitely stay in my garage.

For the condition it's in, that doesn't sound like a bad price! Good luck with the sale - send it to a good new home!

One of the saddest facts of my life is after being active on this board for several years, the first time I get to see a car this nice is when it's about to be sold.

Hey man, I appreciate it. Thanks.

Update: The For Sale thread has started in the Trading Post for all interested buyers...I would love to know this car found it's way into the arms of another member. If only I were so lucky.

Such a shame. I've watched you clean up and maintain that car to a pristine level for the past few years now. Keep the 3G and to hell with the Maxima, the 3G is a better car anyway LOL.

The ONLY downside to your car is it's carbed. Run great when everything on it works, but get a small problem, and it's hell to work out. If the carb and all it's controls are working good, then you have a good chance of getting top dollar for it being almost factory clean. That car is amazingly clean.
