or else adjust it to about 7 or more clicks ..by adjusting the nut that is accesable i think by removing the little garbage can on the end of the center console....

anyone else...
or else remove the console and youll see it no prob

i had to do it after i putt new brakes on it.
remove the plate on the back of the center console, and adjust it.
go clock wise, it will pull the brakes closer.
i had mine up to 5 clicks. but now it is 7 clicks.
another thing, make sure your rear brakes don't need to be changed. may be they need to be changed.
but it is all i can say right now.

check the brakes first, its more likely for them to wear out then the cable

Of course it's the rear brake shoes. If they are worn out it'll give you shitty pedal feel, plus your parking break will suck, obviously.

actually the adjusting nut is accesable by popping the little cover on the end of the console at the very bottom.

why is something about the parking breaks in preformance section?? It should be in Tech. Okay, i am becoming an ass to everyone now. Going to threads and finding what and where everyone posts. Does any moderator wanna move this?

Why did you changed them then?? :D
With parts of the brakes did you change?
Might be the cable is not properly attached to the brake assembly. Does the handbrake feel tight when you pull it?

I only changed the pads, because i had poor breaking and when i pulled them the were worn down to the metal, so i guess i cant say they were "perfect". It does feel tight when i pull and it holds a little but nothing at all like it use to.

I guess you need to adjust the cable at the drum side. And also play around the cable at the handbrake side.
Couldn't help you more..sorry
