rear top hat bushings....

has anyone had anything gone wrong with these? Like them popping off of the top hat?
My friend had a civic that was dropped too far and his bushings popped off his tophat

There's supposed to be a large washer on top of the shock boot (under the bushings) and another large washer on top of the bushings. There is no way for the bushings to go anywhere if they were assembled correctly no matter how far it was dropped.

The rear shocks aint even got all that much tension on 'em normally.

The only time I've seen a shock bushing come out is when they have split (a 'C' instead of an 'O').
