secondary issues

1987 2.0 lx auto
stage one vacuum removal ,pacesetter header,no cat ,staight muffler
other than that stock
have done major tune ,cap,rotor,wires,plugs,all fliters ,all fluids,relaced intake and carb gaskets ,pcv and pcv tube,tighted both ventures

ok heres the issue before we did the the tune stuff had no power like no secondarys so thats what started this all, we found lots o vaccuum leaks, did gaskets and stage one removal, car idles great but still no power doesnt seem like the secondary plates are opening?can i do mech secondary conversion with stage 1? is there some thing im missing ?

yes you can but grab the needed part from a spare carb if you can unless you're not using your a/c idle boost linkage.

before going to mech secondarys, is there something else i can check or look for ?
this is a womens car and i would like to keep it mostly stock carb wise
