Sorry i looked but to no find... a20a jdm motor look and couldn't find it although i think i saw a reference to this before. This should be added to the "Whats the 3g's engines code" faq

Got a "new motor" less than 40k supposed to be shipped from japan but none of my other motors have this code got the BT's and A20A3's but no plain A20A is this right? just different code from japan? they don't label their carb's differently or they not have carbed version

it has a egr on it i don't think this guy swapped the intakes, but i'll try to ask him... weren't the 86 bt's?

both my 3gee and 5 gee have the engine designation with no number beside eg b20a or h22a
and then the serial number under that eg b20a and 2*******underneath and h22a and 2****** underneath
have always thort that the first number in the serial number told you if it were a b20a2 or what ever
is this right
both my accords are jdm
my 5g is in the first 500 made and one of the first couple hundred sir made
chassis cd6-10004** engine number h22a 2***48*

They Were not BT Overseas, just A20A's

So this is exactly the same engine considering it does have the egr valve and i only have the a20a3's ecu anyway. Same compression hp everything... the block itself is exactly the same i mean. just less common over here.

its an a20a1. had one in the 1989 2.0GXL fixed headlight we had.
same as your USDM a20a1 engines. full of emissions bullshit
