This is my 89 honda accord I have put alot of work into it, But needs alot more. If you follow this post I will update frequently.

I still need a new bumper i found a kit im going to throw onto it its the blitz kit, So dont think my paint job is chipping :), I didnt do the trunk either im going to replace it with a carbon fiber one.

Rocking the two diffrent kind of rims stock and a free pair i got lol i love it. I will be replacing these too with some Akuma N20 racing rims there HOT.

I have vip parking in front of everyone, Just incase someone tries to steal my car.Oh also this is my $15 dollar paint job. Yes only $15 dollars well in any case i buffed the hood the sides of the car look like the hood too once its buffed. I might write a tutorial on the $15 dollar paint job if anyone shows some kind of intrest. :)

Its Stock nothing special here maybe ill throw on a header and bore the cylinders a bit. Also thinking about doing a wire tuck and painting some parts of the engine. I will also move the intake to the lower fender for now its working, I need to get my hands on some aluminum tubing. Then I will tig weld it together keeping in mind the beauty of a tig bead.

how do you remove the pipe in between the air intake and breather? Its like welded together i was going to dremel it off but i think that could be a bad idea :)

I will be keeping everyone posted on everything i do. I have done alot and i mean alot to the car so far i just need to figure out how to post pictures from a vcr tape becauSe i recorded it all. From tearing out the inside of the car to body work. Man this should be a pretty sweet thread.

Get a video capture card for your computer, then plug your VCR into that and record it into the computer. Then you can edit, add subtitles and voiceovers, and make your video even more interesting. Then post it on YouTube or some other video sharing website... That would be pretty cool!

here is the proto type im shooting for i drew it up and am working on some of the pieces. Right now ill just show the drawing the stripes down the middle are just to show depth, and the one along the side too. If there are any other ideas toss them in, I always like ideas.

Maybe someone would be so nice to photo chop this, I know it takes time but i would like to see what this thing looks like powder blue with pearl... Im going to try to chop it in gimp and post that also. Im still debating powder blue w/ pearl or metalic, im sure pearl will be better im going to spray it myself. I want to try to do color cordinating on this one white and powder blue interior oo so nice, Maybe the mirror tint baby blue or something havent got that far. But what ever I do its always with a keen eye i have like ocd or something :)

Interesting... while I do admire the kind of work you are putting in to the car, i think the civic front bumper is too round for our cars, and the headlights seem pretty large. I am interested in seeing it finished though.

so am i :) i have an idea of what its going to look like. Look below at my proto type its pretty close so far. Oh and the civic bumper is round, I even thought it wouldnt work but heres the catch im going to use the civic body kit rear bumper and mold it in also and change out the rear end. Its pretty much not a 3gee any more after im done. I think its more like a frankenstien of all cars, But I really loved the inside of it and the way the engine is built so thats why i pretty much bought it. I spend like only 400 Us dollars for it and that is by far a great deal. I am also switching out the automatic transmission and the tranny gears 1-4 1 gen acura, Accord 5th. I am really happy i have alot of input on this project, It makes me want to be done now :) but its going to be worth a wait. Lets see oh and it will be the only car thats like this around which makes me feel Special .. and is pretty much what i wanted in a car anyway to call it my own. I just dont like the way the bondo smells lol oh and fiberglassing is crap, If there is anything i would have to say to someone when they fiberglass where a resperator. Aright im off to bed another day of bondo and sanding ahead of me. Maybe tomorrow I will post the progress. I get pretty far in a day so i should be alot farther into the progress. bondo will crack...and since its on the front....its a bad idea cuz you get most of the water impact in the front...i had some bondo fail on my hood and it just expands and cracks the paint and it also started to rust...so i had to fiberglass the hole...i learned this in autobody class

I fiber glassed most of it, But one side is done now primered up and everything its pretty nice i need to post pics tomorrow because its late right now maybe ill have the other side in a couple of days. As of now it looks strieght import, so unique in every way i love it, I cant wait to post the pics. Maybe i could get accord of the month once its finished :). Would be pretty sweet, Heres a list of to do's

Spoiler
Swap to obd1

Swap out exhast pipe to 2 1/4
Try to find a diffrent throttle body to fit the car

yes it is its made that way if you look at the last pics the assembly was made to fit the 89 bmw. the low beam is on the outside and my high beam is on the inside :) so technically the headlight assem.. was made right i just swaped the wireing so i wont get busted. Sorry something wrong with media fire i understand why you couldnt see in the last pics :)

thanks im trying to get it done but now im short again on cash so its going to be awhile maybe a week or two for rear end / side skirt conversion. I also will take another month or so for interior and paint :( slowly but surely I will accomplish my dream car. I will also try those links out for uploading thanks again guys

I dont know how hard you guys have to look ill post more when i paint it again but thats going to be in a few months. I need to save money for the boot and paint for now ill probably do the interior. This was a rattle can job and i did it fast knowing that i wasnt going to keep the color for long. Next time i do it will be with a paint gun and alot of clear.

I figured out what im going to do about the grill. I took it off yesterday and was looking at it and decided, Behind the plastic part of our grills is a metal bar or bracket. I cut the bracket at a angle on both sides so its flush with the bumper. Now that i did that i was going to cut the plastic to but that would have been great but i want better, We can all agree mesh is sexy. So im going to use a piece of mesh to go across the bracket and then fold it across the metal woot mesh plus conversion front equals SEX. aright get more pics up soon.
