For along time I was fascinated by the Toyota Tureno Sprinter or as everybody calls them the AE86. But just recently as I have found out about the accord sitting in my uncle in laws yard these two cars were seperated at birth. If you have a chance pull up pics of the AE86 and a 3rd gen LX-I hatch there almost perfect twin from two diffrent manufactures. I hoping because of the look a like that the accord might habdle sharp curves like the AE86.

look alike yes... but theres a totally difrent thing going on under its skin... the GT-s engine the rear wheel drive... difrent suspention setups . but looks wise... yes the 3g accord can be mistaken for a AE86, i have even had people come up saying ""i never knew they made those in 4 door" then iwould ask what they ment and come to find out they thought it was a AE (this was when i had my 4 door accord)

honestly, to me anyway, the Honda looks way better. The Toyota seems stubbier, almost squarish, whereas the Honda seems to flow a lil better as far as bodylines go. That and here in Indiana, when it hits winter, you don't really miss the rear wheel drive so much.

I've always wanted an AE86. Those are everywhere in Japan.
