yea no rust was the only reason i bought it but the guy that sold said the rear quarters were gone, so he made some new ones out of fiberglass thus-for it is rusting real real fast. and the paint is enamel the guy i bought it off did a kick ass job painting there was no drips

Below, ahahah, i backed into my buddies driver door and destroyed it, i ripped off his chevy emblum and had it double sided taped onto my car but it must have fell off yesterday cause i saw it there just yesterday o well. So thats how that rear corner is retarded. happened a month ago.

Below, my cars starter as some of you who helped me case down the problem might know, was retarded and i needed to get home that night and the car stalled everytime i took my foot off the gas but it did so in a manner that i couldnt stop it from stalling by just keeping my foot on cause ive done that enough times with my crappy idle that stalls my car. on this particular night it was retarded so a couple of times on the trip i got my dad to just give me a push start with that truck youll see later down the page. i got that black strip and his front bumper go no damage at all what so ever not even a scrape.

Below, the bumper from the corner were the crack is to were its pinned up with the clothes hangar was cracking worse and worse the more i drove around to a point were it was dangling on the ground one scrape away from cracking off and revealing my rusty frame so i ducktaped it at a buddies house and later on did that half ass job.

Below, my cousin emi was really trashed around christmas time and somehow ripped the metal door handle off on one side which caused my door to open when i was doing 120-130ish on the 400 highway and i did a few jurks and it wouldnt close due to the handle staying up and not coiling back down so after about a minute i managed to lock the door at the same time it slammed and kept it sort of crappyly closed like when i child trys to close a car door. it ripped off completely about 2 weeks ago luckly the hinge is in the closed position so i dont have to worry about that happening again

Below, and im actually pissed off at the government for having shitty roads because i was driving in hamilton minding the cars and all of a sudden BAM a MONSTER of a pothole sends my front end into a crazy retarded little cement bump along the road and it took out both my fog lights not ruining my bumper but cracking the plastic on the front of the lights, they must have just scraped but this caused the weather to render the lights non-functional

Enjoy, i drive this thing with total joy. My sound system is loud and the sub can vibrate the whole car if i turn it up enough. The engine is even louder and it kind of helps me measure when i need to put oil in it since i got a pretty damn crazy oil leak. the clutch slips a bit but i believe this will last me until september which is when im getting rid of the car running or not. Its got alot of good parts in it so around then i will start a post when im getting rid of it. Im in Toronto, keep your eyes peeled for that.

I must say, thats the fastest aging ive seen a car do...very sad as it used to look rather nice! I guess it is possible to save it but looks almost like rust has became a major prick for it XD (thus why I don't drive mine in the winter here in WI) The peeling in the front....the color under the white paint looks a bit like the Navaho Red shade of my car ^^

^ haha thanks, i havnt cleaned it since the first snowfall here so thats why its stained yellow and rusting dramatically. Thats what happens when you have a dirty layer of salt on your ride but its ok the worse it looks the less chance someone will steal my baby. the bottom of the car however is pretty solid everythings clean and such except the pinch bar i needed to jack my car up to put the different tires on when it snowed and it was up and then crunnnch goes the pinch bar folding up into the body of the car.. ill take some shots of that when i take some of the interior once i clean it out the back seat floor is full of garbage.. the other day i had a chocolate milk carton get stuck behind my clutch who the hell knows how it got there because it was tossed on the passenger side floor so i think its about time. plus im missing a bunch of lighters and someone aparantly lost their keys in my back seat which kind of forces me to do this today. before and after shots coming :p

Looks like the person who painted it didn't prep first. ie sanding/priming obviously. Probably painted to cover up the rust. There is no way it would rust through 2 layers of paint that quickly if it was good in the first place. Also the paint wouldn't chip like that unless it was done over the clearcoat. i mean come on, it came off with duct tape:wtf:.

Id ask what junk yard you found it in. No really what yard did it come from? It looks like the guy painted in his garage and didnt have any reason for doing it right in the first place. Maaco does a better job than that for 199 bucks

haha id have to get the paperwork to see what junkyard it came from but somewhere near the south south tip of ontario. and ur right it was painted over a clearcoat and ur also right the rear quarters were completely gone but they were fiberglassed back in and the little corners were metal or something for safety.. but yes the enamel came off the fiberglass so that all rusted right up, that explains the area thats smashed.. now for pictures... ill edit in a second gotta host them all and i got a video too but i need somewere to upload if someone could link me on that.. basicly my headlights dim at idle and when i rev my engine up they brighten .. its really drastic too i hope i dont get pulled over.. and the interior pics are all cracked only ones that turned out are of the outside

i was driving home going down a hill and this cock sucker pulled out infront of my so i had to downshift but when i did my ass end fished into the curb and my whole car rolled down the hill i was on.. no sounds or nothing i cased it out and its all good but it was a pretty exciting ride.. the guy managed to gas it out of my way before i hit him but holy cowpies it was damn close

wow the video quality hurts my eyes, it was taken on a phone.. anyway u can sort of see what im saying about reving the engine from idle and the lights getting brighter but its alot worse then the video looks.. alot alot worse, what u think it could be cause everything else seems to be ok electrically except when i turn on the rear window defrost my idle drops to an extreme low i cant run my car at considering its cold as balls outside

so there was a car accident infront of me on hwy 7 friday and thesse cars infront of me smashed into eachother so in order to avoid hitting them i had to turn into the barrier and took out my front end doing 60 into the curb.. car completely shudders doing above 80km and above 60 the steering wheel is vibrating like mad and i have no control so im looking into a new car, was good getting help from you all.. take care hopefully ill get myself a 91 prelude when i have the time to work on it, summer time

sorry to hear it going man...as you know mine is going to the scrappers too due to all the rust and cause i blew the motor...and the heater core is plugged....Alot of us in Toronto have gotten rid of our 3geez because of this danm salt...i think so far theres 3 or 4 including me.
