well....today was a good and bad day...first off....i got a real haircut after 2 years and a half.

i got a valentine and i was going to hang out with her but it looks like we dont have a ride unless i take the MessyDx

well...i understamated the turn...and went on the curb at like 45mph...jumped up the side...broke the tie rod, upper arm....and no i was not racing or drifting.....just a late reaction from me...no more fat fives...lower control arm is fucked....and my door wont open...so the fender is fucked also. il guess il tow it to my uncles and we will have to work on it.

well ima go borrow a jack so i can put it on jack stands and hope for the worse.... the rim is bent beyond use..its just part of the lip missing. and yup tweaked everything.

how did you slam a curb on the DRIVER's side?

I would replace everything from the axle out, just go to the JY :) Hopefully the strut tower isnt bent, but is sounds like it may be if you cant openthe door.

update....went to the junkyard and got everything out but when i went to check out...they said the 50% off didnt start till tomorrow....so i stashed the parts and il be going back early in the morning...not alot of 3geez...i only had like 4-5 fuel injected 88-89 to chose from...last time they were everywhere...i got my parts off a car that had 145k...hope its true.

Yeah my car had similar accident few years ago. Both the crossmember mounting point and the shock tower are bent. They didn't look that bad, but its a different story when I brought it to the alignment shop.

Yeah I went to the junkyard yesterday to see what was up, there were more 88-89 than 86-7 here to. There were several 1gen tegs, it is wild how those have virtually NOTHING in common with Accords.
I was going to go to two other yards but I scored ok at the first one and I was hot and hungry so I went to the store where I got a soda for me.

Same with me, I only hit the curb at probably 10-15mph. The wheel got a little scuffed up but it pushed the subframe in a little bit, kinking it. I had probably 2 or 3 degrees positive camber after that, which is why i got rid of it.

well i just ordered some new technafit SS lines, moog lower and upper ball joints for my prelude arms, im also going to replace the bushings in the lower control arms with the poly ones....so its going to have to wait a bit more. i will take it for an alinement asap....i might also get some new rims depending if the guy takes my offer
