Can someone tell me what this hole is? It vented to the intake manifold, I think. I'm ready to install the DCOEs and I want to know whether to plug it or vent it (OR FREAKING BASH IT TO PIECES CUZ IT IS SLOWING MY PATH TO SIDEDRAFT GOODNESS).

Yes, I think that is the BREATHER CHAMBER. From the hole a small hose goes to PCV under intake manifold..

Yeah, you're right. Just talked with Funstick. He said it's a PCV thing. He said I should put vacuum to it from the intake manifold. Then he suggested a way to run vacuum from all the runners into a vacuum canister so my brakes work well and the vacuum of the engine isn't ditched. Wow, freaking smart guy, that Funstick.

Yeah you ditched your plenum when you went to IR, so there won't be as much vaccum. Just make sure the lines tap into the manifold from the top. :D

Glad you mentioned that. I didn't even think about it. Maybe someone can help me with this. I'm tapping into each runner (3 of 'em for brake booster, 1 of 'em for the PCV breather chamber). If I plan on adding fogger-type nitrous setup later, does it matter where I tap into the runners for the vacuum stuff?

too bad you didn't use an LX-i manifold... you could have screwed vacuum ports into the injector holes.

I just hope the flow of air and fuel isn't affected much when you tap from one runner to the other...

Me too! There's always JB Weld. It's the White-Out of car repair.
