Im gonna do it... convert to 5 speed.

Is there any 3g 5 speed tranny that will not fit on my 89, sei?

About how much will a swap cost, and what problems will i most likeley run into?

Any 3g trans will fit, but go for the 86-87 Prelude Si trans if you can. Its got the best gearing that is a complete bolt on. An 85 Prelude DX is a little better geared, but you have to swap the difs. A hybrid Integra is the best, but you have to swap all the parts into an Accord case. Read the FAQ for most of your answers as far as how the swap goes along. The price is going to be very dependant on how much you can get the parts for.

i just put in a 86 si lude tranny and it is awesome... the gears are so close compared to the accord. it cost me 150 for a wrecked lude... i gto the valve cover and seats and tranny. i was gonna use the efi but it was half missing. anyway... find a lude tranny and the pedals from an accord. if u want the pedals from the lude just send me shipping money and ill give you the pedals and clutch cable and the old flywheel.
