Valve stem seals exhaust

How the hell do the exhaust valve stem seals come off??? the intake seals were cake but i can't for the life of me figure out how the exhaust one come out. searches aren't helping any looked for two days with nothing helpful

Vice grips. And when you go to put the new ones on, trust me even with lots of lubrication they will be an absolute bitch.

Hell i was afraid to damage them at first vise grips huh? damn!
so theres no clip to it just force it wow i tried prying them off not real hard but now i'ma go at em

id rather them be a bitch to go in and out than have them leak :-)

Yeah... I used some 45 degree needle nosed pliers on them and they were way more difficult than the intake side. I did not have much problems installing the new one though.
