hey i was looking at the side skirts on my wifes 98 civic and i was thinking with a little modding, these could be made to fit on a hatch. i put a pic of of an example up to show what they look like, if you notice the way the front bumper is and rear bumper, it looks like it has a lip. with a lip on the hatch front i think this would look great. only question is the back. i was thinking of making a wooden template and taking it to the yard to see if i could find any rear skirts that would look good and were close enough to be modified. heres an example of the civic side skirts that are factory. i will go out in a few and measure the ones on my wifes 98

ok it will work, the skirts on the four door 98 lx are 95 inches long, and they only need to be 93 so it's a simple matter of making them shorter. not sure on the length of the two door ones. if i get time i will pull one off of the 98 and see if it lines up good.it looks like the ones on the two door are two piece someone needs to measure them, anyone with a two door 98?

Wow, great idea...would be rather inexpensive, simple, and a nice touch if you have a front teggy lip :)

Wow, great idea...would be rather inexpensive, simple, and a nice touch if you have a front teggy lip :)thats what i was thinking, i need the lip anyway because i keep destroying the bottom of my bumper. need to fix it again as a matter of fact too cold now though, fiberglass won't set up

oh these would be really easy to mount too,the skirt is flat on to the bottom of the floor pan for about 7 inches inward. just trim to fit and theres your anchor point

ok so they have to come off of the four door for the hatch, the four door is 95 inches end to end,so all they need to do is be trimmed. bullard are the two door ones two piece or one piece? if they are two piece a hybrid of the short section for the front, with the shortened four door version would look better.

went ot the junkyard today, looked at tons of side shirts from accords, and every one is way to short for the hatch, so it's got to be from a 97-98 four door lx, it amazes me how long that car is haha. most of the accord side skirts i measured were the same length as the coupe ones bullard measured. someone needs to measure on a four door accord 3 g i forgot to. maby the other accord side skirts would fit a coupe or four door. talking about like a 92 accord four door.
