Well I was at the junk yard yesterday and I picked up this set of mint prelude seats I had my eye on, I was just worried about mounting them. So I saw a 3 gee sitting not too far and decided to see if it would bolt right in well it did not. I ended up buying the seats and saying to myself, aah i'll figure it out. Well to make a long story short I paid $10 for the two seats I had to remove the right side track from the old seats drill one hole in the new track and it fit like a glove it took me like an hour to do both. I am very very happy with the turnout I will post pics later today.

Damn, sounds like a fairly easy fit if all you had to do was drill one new hole to make each seat fit, bump for a good find and interested in seeing pics when you get them up :)

Yup 10 bucks but it was a bear. I had to break ice to get to the bolts carry one at a time on a very very cold day up a huge hill I was thinking about aborting mission lol. And obvoiusly they had some wear and tear I had to shammpoo and clean/armor all the plastic pieces but i am very very happy with the turnout.

Now I need some input guys, should I go get the back seats and try to rig something up or should I just leave the backs alone and leave the leather in.

Alright I just got done installing the rear and all in all it took approx 2 hours for the install. I had to get some carpet for the rear and run it along the sides and maybe I'll add some in the middle it depends on how much it bugs me. I'm sure I could have done a better job but this was the path of least resistance. The seat release does not work but whatever, I spent $20 for the front and rear seats and $30 for piece of @#$% seat covers at Autozone that I returned, so I am very very pleased. Here are the pics.....

whoa cool... and wierd... that looks great though. Now, to sound like a complete damn n00b, what year lude are they from?

Those seats look like they're in great shape. And personally I like the only having a 4 seater, i hate having people sit in the middle of my back seat.
