Right on, the only problem you might have with the position of that gauge is you could bust it off with your knee(ow). Get some loom to cover up those wires and it will be looking good!

I have that same gauge. Did you wire it up so the background lighting turns on with the lights? Anyways looking good!

I mounted mine in the cassette holder compartment.

Im actually in the process of wiring a custom red LED to it instead of the white light, anyways, how did u wire up that white light on urs, whered u hook it to and is it hooked up to a switch?

I just ran the positive wire from the light to positive connection on the gauge, and ran the negative wire to the little bulb that lights up the cigarette lighter when you turn the lights on. I may have used the positive wire from the cigarette lighter bulb, im not sure i cannot remember. If i did do it that way then you would just need to hook the negative up to the volt meter and the positive would be from the cigarette lighter. Just get a volt meter and test the wiring.

If this one goes out i found a brand new Autometer volt gauge in the garage, comes with a nice LED too :)
