I joined the Army on 9/11/07 left for Ft. Jackson on 9/20

Now i graduate AIT and i'm heading to South Korea for one year. which brings to mind B20A swaps. I haven't forgotten about my old accord i will defintly be getting another but i have to find an se-i as well as a 2.0si 4ws prelude, Becuase i will trying to obtain 2 full Swaps one for race prepped (turbo) another N/a.

Now i want to ask for some info about if korea gets jdm engines in their vehicles.

hey what do you guys think a stroker kit, and a custom turbo kit would respectivly. im thinking about 1500 for the full turbo kit,
and around 2500 for the stroker kit.

None right now but pistons rods, bearings, seals and other associated parts may run 1500 or so. I've got about 2800 into my turbo setup and its still going

Your not going to be able to just send engines back even if you wanted too. You are going to have limited hours in which you can be off post and you are not going to be allowed to drive over there anyhow. Since you are not E7 or above, even if you lived in Japan you can't just ship motors... For one thing I assume you are E3 and below and lol you only make like 1300 a month. btw I am E5 and Couldn't do it on just Army salary alone.

what sgt. fails to mention is that he has an si. lol 2 projects with b20s in them still won´t cost as much as your car. jk. yeah time will defintly be limited and not being able to drive blows.

yeah you are going to need a good translator....find junkyards and hope you have a car to bring it back to camp or something. i would find as many as you can....i would say like 3-4 because they are so rare and you cant really find parts here in the USA. remember also the 2nd gen prelude came with a b20....you can find out by the bump it has on the hood to clear the DOHC....small parts would be like JDM tail lights, spoilers, map lights, corner lights, but your best bet is to see if they sell whole cars and buy it cheap and just rape it off its parts...haha

thats nice and all it´s the fact of where am i going to store cars-parts while i take parts off cause we can´t have any vehicles in korea and we also have a curfew.

honestly all i care about is obtaining a few full engines.

im sure they have self storages there in korea rent one then put all the goodies in there and then when you get shipped back to the states you can take a week leave or so and fly back over to get all the stuff you collected

Yeah what they don't factor in is how that "free PT" impacts your body over time.. look at some of the 1SG and SGM/CSM walking around, they can barely do that!

yeah it won't be easy obtaining the b20's but i will be relent less now what i have to find out is what parts fit (i.e. rebuild parts (rods, rings etc) and if those are only available over there.

And if anyone knows the listing of countries that recieved JDM models? Thanks
