I've looked in there and it seems a bit more complicated than that.
2 of the 3 clamps that hold the arms from the motor to the window are broken/missing. and I've tightened everything I can think of. It basically needs an entire rebuild of the tracks, arms, maybe the motor (though it's actually the strongest one in the car I think), weather seals and maybe the window class cause it is scratched from the way to has to go up and down. I need to do this on all the windows.
Summer project for sure...

Summer project for sure...just go to a junkyard power winder regulators with motors are cheap as anything for these cars. pull the entire regulator with the motor on it and swap it. easy job actually

on the wifeys car, the whole assembly broke in half at the regulator base. There about 100 bucks new from honda and take about 30 minutes after to you get the door panel off. It fixed her problem like that. Oh and the honda silicon on all tracks and seals works wonders

I may have to try some of that, one of my back windows rolls down a bit slow....it doesnt help having the sticky residue left behind from old cheapo window tint being left on them either....i gotta pick up some tint-off and get that sticky shit off my rear windows....
Wooot 200 posts...took me a few months to get 100 posts, and in under a month-ish after getting 100 posts i now have 200...crazy how fast that went lol

Wow that's worse than my window. During the winter I don't even try to put it down because the switch sticks and it takes forever for the window to come back up. I did put some silicon stuff on the guides and that helped but I need to get a new switch.

I'm curious what would cause power window mechanism to fail while the manual one work perfectly even after >20 years. Too much force from the motor?
