I tried searching but couldn't find any info on this topic. Just trying to find out if it is even possible on these cars. I have an 88 Accord LXI.

The speed sensors used in these cars are mechanical not electronic, so I don't think its possible.

it can be done but aint to cheap
some auto sparkies can do it but they tend to be the older ones
you have to send them the speedo and poss the drive out the g/box
supply them with diff ratio, tyre size etc so the can re calculate the gear ratio in the speedo itself

Thanks for the info. I wish it was as easy as changing the drive gear on the speedo cable like many older cars.

On toyo's website in tire sizes they are only .4 " difference. But when compared to my stock tires with no weight on them they are 1" taller.

get your self a big tape measure and measure the circumference of the tires you have fitted and a standard size tire and fig out the difference between the two as a percentage and that will be how far out the speedo will be and you can adjust your speed accordingly
