I'm changing the oil pan gasket on my 87 DX with a new Honda gasket and was wondering what you guys recommend for sealer. It was a SOB to get off so I was thinking about using Hylomar just for that reason plus I like it. Does that make sense or ???

Thanks!

I just used some high temp rtv, and haven't had a problem with it.

I spent more time getting the damn pan off after everything was unbolted than getting down to it taking it off. Maybe I'll use the HondaBond on the oil pan side and Hylomar on the block side so IF it had to come off later, it might be easier... Thanks!
