I have searched and read, but still this is unclear. I have the correct bracket for the rear mount, can the A20 mount be used with this bracket?

can you clear this up some? with that bracket I can use the USDM A20 rubber part of the mount?

And all the other USDM A20 hardware? in other words I can swap this steight up without buying parts other than another short axle for the driver's side (LHD)

Correct, the rear bracket that you have is the most important. I think the front bracket is a little different but don't quote me on that. And yes you can use all the usdm rubber mounts.

Most swaps seem to lack the rear bracket but you need that to do the swap or you will have to make one as a few people did.

The front B20A bracket can be different from your original A20A bracket depending of what year your car was built. Some brackets are made of cast iron, others are spot welded metal. It's not B20A specific, even the A20A had different ones.

Just use your own A20A front bracket and it's all good.

When you get the right side axle, don't forget to swap the inner joint from a Prelude or something if you want to put it on the left side.

Ok Im using the JDM automatic.
What is the reason for using a Prelude (or something) inner CV? spline count? length of yoke?
What year Prelude and what type transmission?

I already have an extra right side (USDM passenger side) axle with a bad outer CV joint. There was no core on the last one I bought for the DX 5 speed. I had in mind to repair that one and use it.

Thanks Rob, Carot for that mount information, I got lucky with the bracket..

The year and transmission type isn't really important. The problem is the spline length. I think mine came from a 90 Integra.

I fixed the dead link in this thread

You'll see what I mean.

yeah its good how all the mounts in the engine bay are all the same between a20 and b20 apart from the rear bracket

do you have to use the jdm b20 or can you use one out of a usdm prelude? i found engine and 5spd tranny for 250 on craigslist

The rear mount has to be the JDM B20A part.
