yeah your car was never in a front end crash like mine was....i can tell the body shop replaced the pop up light with an aftermarket one because its black while the other side is original with the gold paint....one light would aim higher than the other one...but i inflated my tires to the right psi and parked on a leveled spot and started adjusting them from my point of view...and they turned out good

I dont think they made aftermarket crash parts pop ups housings, you should know there are adjustments on those mechanisms AND of course they are going to be black, do you know how big a PITA it would be for them to stock exterior paint items like those? are the door handles even available in exterior color codes? those maybe some colors Im not sure.
Sounds more like the body shop did not trim out the parts before they put it in and then failed to adjust the headlight door mechanism or possibley have the wrong screws in the bezel keeping it from moving right.

Then swap out your orange front bumper lenses while you're at it...

what exactly did you do? The 88-89 Sedan/Coupe bumpers are totally different than the 86/87 and all hatches. They won't fit in an 86/87 or hatch bumper. For that, it's all custom.

You can pull the amber out of the 88-89 and presto, instant clears.

Spray tint tends to look blotchy when ya shine light through it unless yer really really really carefull when ya apply it.

I recently redid my lights with the vinyl tint stuff and it look 1000 times better to me now. The tough part is that ya gotta heat it, while ya stretch it around the corners and curves, while yer smoothing out any air bubbles, all at the same time. If yer countin' in yer head, yes, that does mean ya need 4 hands to do this right. 2 stretching, 1 heating, and 1 using the squeegy to get out the air bubbles. Make sure ya got a friend interested in helping when ya wanna do this stuff.

I got mine from this company

:uh: didn't intend to jack da thread .. just tried to provide info in answer to a question posted in the thread.

I'm not a huge fan of clear lenses myself (obviously) but I can imagine putting them on a frost white or black LX-i with some sorta altezza tails, and cleared front signals as part of an overall lighting conversion style. I'd wanna get headlight eyebrows, and a front grill to match though. Hmmm ... maybe a custom tubular grill for the hood and lower grill area or chromed mesh to sorta match the diamond mesh look in the lenses of those clear corners
